Fully Interactive Custom Mapping Services
Red Paw Technologies now offers fully interactive mapping services to complement our complete line of custom maps.
In years past, we were never wholly satisfied with the existing interactive mapping platforms and quality of base maps available for general use. From a user’s perspective, the maps were clunky and unresponsive. And from a creator’s view, the map tools were clumsy and difficult to program.
Today, we work with several new interactive tools such as ESRI’s ArcGIS Online, Atlist and Mapbox, allowing us to bring similar precision and design quality to our interactive maps as offered for all our traditional cartographic products.
With Our Interactive Maps, You Can:
- Represent your organization's property locations, local amenities and competition properties on a fully interactive, customizable map.
- Illustrate demographic data, transportation networks and directional routes.
- Use a variety of customizable interactive base maps or a standard Google Maps base, including satellite imagery.

Transform Your Company’s Data
Red Paw can transform your organization’s data by displaying property locations, competition properties and local amenities collectively on a customizable, interactive map.
For example, you can display properties for sale or rent in an organized manner, such as this example of industrial commercial properties in Southern California. Clicking on each property brings up an image as well as pertinent information regarding each property.

As complex or as simple as needed
Red Paw can develop an interactive map with a base map that can utilize a traditional Google Maps base, a satellite imagery base (as show in the Southern California sample above), or a customized base map, as shown in the Downtown Boulder, Colorado below.
This sample map features a handful of Downtown Boulder restaurants, hotels and coffee shops. A customized hybrid Google Maps base was used for readability. The pop-up information windows here can be modified, as well as the clickable map icons.

Illustrate properties, amenities or any other item of importance
In this sample, Red Paw created a satellite imagery map of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, illustrating the athletic venues around campus.
Click on a colored dot within the interactive map below to display the athletic venue. Alternately, click on the arrow at the top left corner of this map. Then, you can opt to display the legend or the geographic bookmarks.
Beyond Display: More-Informed Decisions
Our final interactive map sample is one Red Paw built for the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP). This map displays a series of streams within the Ohio River and Delaware River Basins in Pennsylvania that have been monitored for pollutants to determine stream health for fishing. The map shown here was used for both analytic purposes by TRCP as well as for general public knowledge.
